Known as the "birthplace of humanity," Africa has surpassed one billion citizens this year and is expected to double to two billion by 2050.  With its growing population comes a growing need to confront the ravages of poverty, illiteracy, malnutrition and HIV/AIDS.  We're looking for concerned citizens, bloggers, NGOs, churches and non-profits who share a passion for Africa to collaborate on ways to confront the social and economic pressures affecting this diverse continent.
